Winter Hymn Sing Services

Join us each month for our Hymn Sing Service on Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy singing the great old hymns of the faith, worshipping God, and sharing fellowship together. Our afternoon service is especially ideal for those who find it difficult to attend early morning services during the colder months. Whether you know every hymn by heart or simply enjoy traditional worship, we'd love to welcome you

Retirement Home Services

Service Times:

Services are held once a month at each of the Retirement Homes, and church members are encouraged to join in and assist with the worship. Currently they're being run by Rev Alistair McNaughton, Jason Shaw, Bryan & Marie Morgan & Sonia Wells, along with a few musicians - Glenys Carson & Anne Tresize.

  • McKenzie Healthcare:                                   Third Thursday of the month, 11:00am
  • Waihi Lodge:                                                                    Second Thursday of the month, 11:00am

Parishioners who have loved ones in care at either facility often accompany their family. Church attenders are always welcome to come and encouraged to assist the residents.

TEXT OF THE YEAR 2026:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
   that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free,
and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”
