This ministry has been running for two years and has fed many people in the community. It is run by Jason and Louise Shaw and provides meals for anyone and everyone. A range of options is available, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan meals.

Rest Awhile offers not only food, but also an opportunity for fellowship and connection within the community, as well as support for those who may be struggling or in need of a meal.

A few times each year, Rest Awhile hosts themed days to add fun and joy to Fridays. In 2025, these include Christmas at Rest Awhile, a 1950s Diner, King’s Birthday High Tea, and a special autumn-themed meal.

Gold coin donations are welcome but not essential. make sure to come down one Friday!
